Project Dolly: a story of good intentions.
It’s 1977 and Dolly is a home-raised chimpanzee who can speak in sign, make tea, and charm the readers of Life Magazine. Her psychologist “parents” are riding high and life on campus is good. But soon, despite meticulous planning and careful execution, an unforeseen event takes them all by surprise: she grows up.
