Teacher Spotlight: K. Lorrel Manning

rserrellTraining

We’d love to help you get to know our incredible TBG teaching artists a little bit better, so we got K. Lorrel Manning to answer a few questions! Check out our interview with him below…

What is your favorite class to teach at TBG and why?

KLM:  Unfortunately, at the moment, I only have time to teach Online Screenwriting I. While, yes, it would be great to sleep in on Sunday mornings, I really love to share my knowledge, challenge my students, and then admire how much they have grown as screenwriters in just eight weeks. It’s thrilling!

What is something you recently learned or were reminded of in the world of acting, writing, or directing?

KLM: The work can be super fun and enlightening when you take the pressure off yourself and just breathe.

What is a recent, current, or upcoming project that you’d like folks to know about?

KLM: We are currently in the fundraising phase for my second feature film, Sheila & the Punk. I’m currently in revisions on a new full-length play, Pamela. And I’ve started outlining a new solo show, title TBD.
