I was incredibly inspired by K. Lorrel Manning’s Trouble in Mind and thought of doing a similar event for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage month. Lorrel very kindly gave us his blessing to do so and I’m very grateful. I want to do work that will lift up Asian artists. It’s so important right now for Asian Americans to be seen and heard. I hope through this show audiences will see themselves, their friends, their families, their history and their stories
