Training for Organizations

The Barrow Group partners with organizations to foster presence, communication, creativity, and human connection. Drawing on our internationally respected training for actors, we design experiential programs that help people show up more fully—in the room, with one another, and in their work.

Our work is active, embodied, and practical. We believe transformation happens through doing, not performing.

Corporate Workshops

Our corporate workshops support leaders and teams in cultivating clarity, confidence, and authentic communication. Grounded in voice, body awareness, listening, and presence, these sessions help participants communicate with greater ease, authority, and connection—especially under pressure.

Workshops are customized for each organization and may focus on:

  • Presence and embodied leadership
  • Authentic communication and storytelling
  • Listening, collaboration, and trust-building
  • Managing nerves and performance anxiety
  • Voice and breath for sustainable, confident speaking

Programs range from single-session workshops to multi-day intensives and ongoing engagements.

Higher Education Residencies

The Barrow Group partners with colleges, universities, and conservatories to offer residencies for students, faculty, and staff. Our work complements academic training by emphasizing experiential learning, self-awareness, and creative freedom.

Residencies may include:

  • Acting, voice, and movement intensives
  • Workshops on presence, authenticity, and communication
  • Faculty development sessions
  • Cross-disciplinary programming for non-arts students

Residencies are tailored to each institution’s goals and can range from short-term workshops to multi-week engagements.

K–12 Education Residencies

Our K–12 residencies use theater-based practices to support students’ confidence, creativity, and emotional expression. Through play, storytelling, and ensemble-based work, students learn to communicate clearly, collaborate with others, and trust their own voices.

Residencies may focus on:

  • Creative expression and imagination
  • Social-emotional learning
  • Communication and self-confidence
  • Ensemble building and collaboration
  • Classroom presence for students and educators

Programs are age-appropriate, inclusive, and aligned with school values and curricular goals.
