Set in London,The Thickness of Skintells the story of a middle-class woman who lends a hand to a homeless man. The play sheds a light some of the unforeseen challenges that emerge when classes collide. Clare McIntyre, a celebrated British playwright who died, tragically at a very young age of Multiple Sclerosis. Her work is rarely seen in the states and we’re thrilled to represent her. The Thickness of Skin explores the question, When we have an urge to help others, is it because we want to serve ourselves or are we really doing it for other people’s benefit?”
