Works In Progress: Playwrights
During Works in Progress, writers are pre-selected to share up to 10 pages of their script-in-progress in front of an audience. Actors will be cast on the spot at 6pm EST (no advanced casting allowed) and the readings will begin at 6:30pm EST.
Selected writers: Michael Betrand, Isabel Monk Cade, Masia Chang, Kate McMorran, and Jane Watson.

Writers: To participate, email your submission (up to 10 pages) to firstfridays@barrowgroup.org. Deadline to submit is Friday, August 28 at 5pm EST. Writers will be notified if selected by Monday, August 31.
Actors: To participate, reserve your ticket and login to the event at 6pm EST on September 4.
Audience: If you’d like to watch the readings, reserve your ticket and login to the event at 6:30pm EST.
