Teacher Spotlight: Ron Piretti

Doug GoldringCommunity, Training

We’d love to help you get to know our incredible TBG teaching artists a little bit better, so we got Ron Piretti to answer a few questions! Check out our interview with him below…

What is your favorite class to teach at TBG and why?

RP:  I don’t have a favorite class to teach. I like to teach, period. In the Beginner classes, it is great to introduce the Barrow Group approach and watch as students begin to understand the tools. It is always very rewarding to see some of the students move on and become a part of the TBG community. In the more advanced classes, I am in awe of the talent and how the TBG tools are so accessible and successful. I am fortunate to have found the work I love to do and am grateful to The Barrow Group for giving me the opportunity to share it.

What is something you recently learned or were reminded of in the world of acting, writing, or directing?

RP:  I am always reminded of the joy of collaboration in the theatre and the satisfaction of bringing a project to life.

What is a recent, current, or upcoming project that you’d like folks to know about?

RP:  At the moment I am mostly teaching, but I do have a couple of projects coming up in which I am staging the fights.
