I have just returned from the Fringe festival in Edinburgh where K. Lorrel Manning’s play, “Lost…Found,” performed. The theme of the fringe festival this year was “Stories That Unite Us”.
Today is my husband’s birthday. For the last 38 years, The Barrow Group has been an ever-evolving story that has united us (me and him.) Our journey at TBG has led us to hundreds, if not thousands, of collaborations. At TBG, we have grown as artists. Every day we continue to help each other on projects. We have continuous conversations on how we can refine our skills to become better teachers, directors, actors, and communicators.
As the years go by, The Barrow Group’s mission remains clear and strong…
Art heals the world. Stories bring people together for a shared experience and unite us in our humanity.
On this special day, I offer this simple prayer…
Let us continue to transform people’s lives with stories that unite us. May The Barrow Group continue to be your artistic home – a nurturing place to create those stories.
