Open Call Announcement!
Actors are needed for The Barrow Group’s annual Student Playwriting Festival, featuring works in progress from student writers and directors.
Actors must be available for rehearsals between August 17th and September 13th, with a specific schedule to be determined with the team. The Festival will have readings on September 10th – September 13th. Actors will only be required to attend the readings they are cast in.
Writers and directors will be casting 16 pieces and over 50 actors!

In-Person Auditions
Sunday, August 9th – 11am-6pm
Thursday, August 13th – 4-9:30pm
The Barrow Group – 520 8th Avenue, 9th Floor
*Actors will need a photo ID to enter the building*
When you arrive at TBG, check in at the front desk to get on the audition list. Actors will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis, and we cannot guarantee everyone will be seen, though as many will be seen as time allows. Actors can come anytime during the audition session.
Please prepare a 1-2 minute contemporary monologue. Headshot and resume is not required.
