Dinanda Klaassen

Actress, director, writer, and musician Dinanda Klaassen hails from The Netherlands, where she studied Opera at a conservatory. Productions in her homeland include Macbeth by Verdi, Down In The Valley by Kurt Weill, The Virgin Suicides, and La Voix Humaine. Since moving to New York City her first original short play Kiss and Goodbye premiered at The New York Winterfest Festival. Currently, Dinanda is filming the role of Ashana Sorgeson in the new Amazon show The Clowns, premiering in 2024. Her last film role, opposite Armand Assante, was in the soon-to-be-released Don Q, directed by Claudio Bellante. Regional theatre includes A Christmas Carol (National Tour), Spamalot, Into The Woods, and Joseph…Dreamcoat. She is proud to be an acting teacher at The Barrow Group. www.dinandaklaassen.com
