Theme: Youth Writers (ages 6-18)

For Works in Progress, writers are pre-selected to share up to 10 pages of their script-in-progress in front of an audience. Actors will be cast on the spot at 6pm ET (no advanced casting allowed) and the readings will begin at 7pm ET.

Writers: To participate, email your submission (up to 10 pages) of your script in progress to firstfridays@barrowgroup.org. For this edition of First Fridays, we are accepting submissions from youth writers ages 6-18. Deadline to submit is Friday, October 30 at 5pm ET. Writers will be notified if selected by Tuesday, November 3.
Actors: To participate, reserve your free ticket and login to the event at 6pm ET on November 6. For this edition, we will have adult actors read youth scripts. For the event, we ask that actors join the Zoom session in a quiet place.
Audience: If you’d like to watch the readings, reserve your ticket and login to the event at 7pm ET.
