Online Beginners Acting Class I: The Basics

This 8-week class is designed for the beginning / amateur adult actor, and will teach you the fundamentals of the craft. The class highlights quick and powerful ways to make your performance more natural and spontaneous. No experience is necessary.  A great start for the beginning actor!

TEACHER BIO

Instructor: Farrah Crane

Farrah Crane,  originally hails from the mountains of Virginia and is a graduate of Radford University. Farrah is currently an an actor, teacher, and producer living in New York City. As an actor and director Farrah has worked regionally and in NYC; appearing on stage (The Barrow Group, The Public Theatre, New Dance Group Arts Center, Hudson Guild Theatre), working with theatre companies (Theatre in Asylum, The Poet Acts) and her film work can be seen in films such as The Great Love Rosemary and Coq Au Vin (First prize winner at Central New York Film Festival). Farrah is also the co-artistic director of Core Artist Ensemble, a NYC ensemble based theatre company committed to developing new works for theatre, film, and podcasts. Farrah also serves as the Director of Education at The Barrow Group, a non-profit theatre company and training center located in midtown Manhattan.

All payments for classes are non-refundable (unless a class is canceled).
If you need to cancel a class for any reason, you must notify us by email at least one week before the class begins, and we will apply a credit to your account for a future class.
As our faculty are all working professional actors, directors and playwrights, we reserve the right to change teachers at any time.
Commitment is for the duration of the session. THERE ARE NO CREDITS OR REFUNDS FOR MISSED CLASSES. If you discontinue any class before the ending date of the session, you forfeit your fee.
